A golf trip to Italy?  Yes!

The Pantheon in Rome

Imagine waking up in your boutique hotel in Rome and heading out for a stroll near the Pantheon to get breakfast.

Then you head back to the hotel, grab your clubs and within about thirty minutes, you arrive for a round of golf at Marco Simone Golf Club, site of the 2023 Ryder Cup.

After the round and a late lunch at the club, you head back to town, relax for a bit, then head back out to stroll toward Trevi Fountain.

You stop in a few shops, then on the way back toward your hotel, you sit for dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants.  You finish off dinner with some of the local limoncello liqueur, a perfect after dinner drink.

Before you reach your hotel, you make one last stop to grab a small cup of gelato, and then you call it a night, looking forward to the adventure tomorrow.

There is no other place on earth where you can enjoy such an experience, and this is but one example.

We can describe countless types of days involving golf, sightseeing, wine tasting, or even a cooking class throughout much of Italy.

Where else on earth can you explore the ruins of an ancient Greek amphitheater in the morning, and follow that up with a round of golf at the base of an active volcano?

Hint… only in Sicily.

Bellagio, Italy

Or, how about driving out from Milan up to Lake Como after a couple days of sightseeing and shopping for a round of golf and then an afternoon of relaxation in the gorgeous town of Bellagio?

And the list goes on!

These are experiences you can’t have elsewhere, because quite frankly, there is no other place like Italy!

Yet, for most North American golfers, Italy is not even in the back of their minds as a golf destination.

This is of no surprise, since golf is not nearly as popular in Italy as it is in the U.S., UK and even in countries such as Spain and France.

As a result, Italy has been largely undiscovered as a golf destination.

We’re here to change all that!

Italy Golf Escapes was created to put Italy on the map for golfers in the U.S. and Canada.  No place on earth can combine the scenery, history, and cultural experiences quite like Italy.
